RIP   20 April 2017

Carol Ann  Gall, 76 of South Amboy, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with her loving family by her side. 

Carol was born and raised in Perth Amboy, before moving to South Amboy 30 years ago with her father. Carol graduated from Holy Trinity grade school in Perth Amboy in 1954. She attended St. Cyril Academy High School, Danville, PA and graduated in 1958. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. 

Carol taught grades 3 through 6 and departmental in grades 7 and 8 grades in Binghamton, NY, Nanticoke, PA and Yonkers, NY. She also taught Religious Education at St. Mary's and Holy Trinity Parishes in Perth Amboy for many years. She was employed by P S E &G, Newark, and worked in the Purchasing Department for six years before being transferred to the Central Maintenance Shop in Sewaren, NJ. She worked for a total of 31 years as a Senior Secretary. She retired in 2004. She was a past president of the Holy Trinity Rosary Altar Society for several years and was a member of both the Holy Trinity Seniors and Slovak Clubs. In 2006, she received the "Regina Nostra Award" from the Diocese of Metuchen.   

She is preceded in death by her loving parents John R. and Mary H. ( nee Trella ) and her baby sister Dorothy M. Gall.  

She is survived by her beloved brother Theodore J. and his wife Patricia Gall; cherished aunt of Sharon Cauich, Kathy Dillon, Jennifer Ripley and Theodore L. Gall and many great nieces and nephews.

The funeral is on April 26, 2017 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.  A funeral  mass will be at 10 am at Good Shepherd Parish at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visiting is on Tuesday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 pm.
