I, too, was a student of Sister Lilliana 60 years ago. She went to St. Joseph's School in Danville to work as the principal. She hired me as her secretary. I was with her until her stroke made her unable to work any more. I too learned marketable skills from her. Her big desire was to learn to drive. I took her out to drive in the academy car.. She never did get her driver's license. I told her that she needed to get a ride whenever she wanted to go anywhere. Hope you enjoy this memory.
I was a student of Sister Lilliana (shorthand and typing) and remember her business tips---she was kind, gentle and sometimes stern, but always helpful. I also remember a well deserved lecture on budgeting my expense account. Rest in peace Sister Lilliana and God Bless You.
Sister Lilliana was so kind as to offer typing classes after school for those who were not on the business track. I remember those old manual typewriters! I am so thankful for her dedication and her pushing us to be the best! I have used that typing skill throughout my life and it has served me well! Thank you, Sister Lilliana until I can thank you in person!

God bless Sister Lilliana! Thanks to her and her typing class, I had a marketable skill!
I have very fond memories of her anecdotes of the business world - they prepared me for the working world!
