She was predeceased by : her parents, Bohumil Valenta and Febronia Valenta; her husband Lewis F. Foytlin; her siblings, Arnold, Thomas, Theadore, George Valenta, Eleanor and Delores; and her son-in-law Edwin G. Kearney.

She is survived by : her children, Lynda Sheehan (Mike), Marlene Kearney (Ed), Daniel Foytlin (Teresa) and David Foytlin (Jennie); her grandchildren, Tyler Davis (Nitzie), Jennifer Glickman (Jamie), Rodrick Foytlin, Erik Foytlin and Kimberly Foytlin; her great grandchildren, Athena and Athens Glickman; and her close friends, Louie and Kimmie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 7th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Infant Catholic Church (5000 Southpark Dr, Durham, NC 27713). A mass was held on Thursday, October 7th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
