Endwell: Connie Woods, born on October 28th, 1933, in Philadelphia, PA, went to heaven Wednesday afternoon, August 3rd, 2011 after a long and brave battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Marie Pagano; and her sister, Marie Dawn Pagano. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William Woods, who has devoted his life to her care; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Dawn Woods, Newton, MA, and Mark Woods, Kannapolis, NC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Michael Koubeck, Easton, CT, Dorothea and Michael Gaston, Appalachian; six grandchildren, Devon, Morgan, Taylor, Adam, Jack and Monica; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gay and John Dunwoody, Orlando, FL, Evelyn and Don Cologne, Las Vegas, NV; other special family, Sue Oneal, Mitchell and Mercy Woods, Chery Parker and the Yalch Family. Connie has lived in Endwell for over 40 years. She had great faith in God and love for her family. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott. Connie spent her childhood being raised by the sisters of St. Cyril at the Jenota Home in Middletown, PA and at the St. Cyril Academy in Danville, PA. She spent eleven years working for the Arabian American Oil Company, ARAMCO, in Saudi Arabia. This is where she met and married her husband and best friend. They were married in 1962 in Manamah, Bahrain. Connie also retired from the Union-Endicott School District. The family would like to thank "Yesteryears" and all the staff of the Susquehanna Nursing Home, especially, Jackie and Tisha, for the loving care and compassion that was shown to Connie. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday, August 8th, 2011, at 10 AM, at St. Joseph's Church, 207 Hayes Ave., Endicott. Burial will be in Francisco, Indiana. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM.
