Mother lived a very long life devoted to her faith, children and school. Her greatest pasttime while at Maria Joseph Manor was sitting with the nuns and going through her yearbook. Many hours were spent watching her favorite football team, Notre Dame and listening to the Berwick Bulldogs football games. Mother worked hard and long hours to provide for my sister and I... She sacrificed a lot to make sure we had the things that we needed. Although we miss her terribly we know she is at peace and so proud of her nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchldren and 1 and soon to be 3 great children. If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, then pick a bunch for us. Place them in our mother and grandmother's arms and tell her they're from us. Tell her that we love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while!
