My sister, Mary Mangano Baylor, '53 left this world suddenly and tragically in a car accident on May 14, 1971. She left four children, Mike, 17, Jim, 16, Donna, 14, and Debbie, 8 at that time. She now has five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was a waitress at the Elks at the time of her death, the place where the homecoming banquets are held. She was my older sister and she has been sorely missed through the years. She was an outgoing soul and will always be remembered for her friendliness and her beautiful red hair. I remember several of the Sisters coming to her viewing in Danville, Sister Tarcisia in particular. It just came to me it would be nice to mention her so she might be remembered by her classmates.
