   Having experienced love, and the wonders and joys of living, Pat Troisi, of Loyalsock Twp., died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Manor Care South, following a lengthy illness.

   Born, March 24, 1936, at her maternal grandmother’s, Charlotte Polinski’s home in Plains, Pat was the first child of Francis and Lottie Tolozko Delycure. She was the first grandchild of both families. Thus, she was smothered with love. Actually, spoiled. Because of this love, Pat faced life with confidence and security. Love is the root of life’s success.

   Pat graduated from St. Cyril’s Academy, Danville, where she established and was editor of the high school’s newspaper. Also, Pat wrote plays which were performed for the nuns, the students, and also the Danville residents. A member of the Academy’s Chorus, Pat played the French horn in its orchestra.

   Pat attended Miseracordia College, Lycoming College, and St. Francis University. She was the very first lay teacher in St. Boniface Elementary School. When in 1975, the third St. Boniface Church was opened, Pat was the editor of the church’s dedication book. Pat was a reporter and writer for the former Grit Publishing Company’s local and national editions. She contributed articles to the Women’s and Social pages. And, she wrote feature items for the paper’s City edition. Her “one-liners” to the Editor of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette were popular. Pat’s blood ran Phillies red.

   On August 16, 1958, Pat married John A. Troisi, son of Domenic and Bernardine Beiter Troisi, in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Montoursville. The couple celebrated their 55^th wedding anniversary last August.

   Pat is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Joi A. Grande, of New Castle; son, Jeffrey A.  Troisi of Shoemakersville; brothers,  Francis J. Delycure Jr. of Montoursville and Thomas F. (companion, Mary Wilson) Delycure of Williamsport; sisters, Gloria Marie (Anthony) Belott of Williamsport and Mary F. (Thomas) Rossi of Utica, NY and four grandchildren.

   Along with her parents, Pat was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen M. Delycure.

   Pat was a member of St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church. She, now, is experiencing afterlife. To all who touched Pat’s life with love, she hugs in gratitude.

   Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., with Msgr. Stephen D. McGough officiating. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave.

   The family will provide the flowers. Contributions may be made to the “Father Clark Educational Endowment Fund”, c/o St. Boniface Church, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
