It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Rose Borkowski of Parkersburg, West Virginia, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 5, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank J. Balint and Helen R. Balint; her husband Ambrose; her siblings, Frank Balint and Kate Dunmire; and her grandson Nathan Hendershot.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph (Sharyn Borkowski), Mary (Emmett Hendershot), Monica (Ken Davis), Greg Borkowski of Napoleon, OH, Steve (Kathy Borkowski), Tom Borkowski (Marilyn) of Dripping Springs, TX and Ed Schreckengost (Arlene Borkowski) of Mineral Well; her brother Raymond Balint; and her grandchildren, Angela Blasiski (Jeff), Stephen Borkowski (Kristen), Matthew Borkowski (Vera), Angela Hendershot, Marissa Hendershot, Eric Borkowski (Erin), Andrew Borkowski, David Borkowski (Lindsay), Andrea Borkowski (Paul), Sara Borkowski, Michael Borkowski (Loni), Elizabeth Borkowski (James), Dan Borkowski, Alex Schreckengost, Emily Schreckengost, Bobby Schreckengost and Joni Schreckengost. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid a private family mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father John Rice as Celebrant.
