My sister, Joanne, and I settled into our new home in November of 2014. It's a one-level townhouse which we like very much and the location outside of Hazleton is perfect. We're still spending much time organizing, decorating and gradually clearing out our belongings from our Alter street residence. We hope to find someone who will purchase our family home and rental properties soon so that we may be relieved of the maintenance and management of the buildings.

We're currently preparing for a river cruise on the Rhine and Mosel rivers. The trip begins in Switzerland and continues through Germany and France and ends in Netherlands during the peak of the tulip season. Our departure date is April 15. We're looking forward to it.

It's not too early to begin thinking about Homecoming 2016! At our last reunion, we had six "representatives" from the class of '60. It would be nice for many more of us to show up--for old time's sake. Dee (Gallo) Quinn came all the way from St. Louis. (My sister and I had connected with her during the summer after our Pastoral Musicians' convention there.) The others were Sister Teresa Urda, BJ, Marie and Becky. We all had a great day.

I hope everybody is happy and healthy. I certainly would enjoy hearing from anyone in our class (or other classes) who cares to communicate. "Old" friends are the best!
School Story:

Everybody from our era must remember our frequent singing of the Magnificat in harmony, in Latin, and from memory! We sang it not only in chapel but after many extracurricular events. It shouldn't be surprising that when we gather for our Mass at homecoming, the alumnae fill the basilica with those familiar strains--even after all those years. Come and join the song!

Happy 78th birthday, Joanna! Hope you have a wonderful day and a better year!
Our planned BIG celebration of the 60th anniversary of our graduation fell to COVID as so many other plans did. We'll have to make up for it at Homecoming 2022! I'm starting now to try to find some classmates who haven't been heard from for a while. It would be great if we could break the record of homecoming attendees from our class.
