We've had a very busy life and did lots of
traveling. I lost my husband of 57 yrs.

Now, I spend my time clearing out the mass
of 'stuff' collected through the years.

Now, today 1/1/2023 I am going into my 90 th year. Carol is now home as a caregiver to me. She teaches part time at a Montessori school and loves it.
School Story:

Haven't we all at one time tied a sock to the 'BELL'
to silence it? My favorite was picking Fialky in the
fields. Do you know that my husband dubbed me
'Fialka' from the very beginning of our relationship and even now have it engraved on my tomb stone?! We are blessed with good health and a yearning to become saints. We pray for our church and all of our Parish Priests. We love living here in Steubenville, Oh. Both my daughters graduated from Fransiscan Uni. Most of this town is dedicated to being Good Catholics. We pray for all our children to stay strong in their Faith.
I think of those in my class that I am unable to contact. e.g. Georgianna, Joan Brady, Beatrice Burns, Emily Surmik? Anyone knows anything? Also my friend, Frances Sochor from "50 from Endicott, M.Y.?

Hi Josie, Happy Birthday. I am close behind you. My birthday will be May 31. I was born May 31, 1933. I've been trying to email you for a while. Computer or ipad do not do email very well. I do text, if you have a cell phone. Please contact me when you are able. My daughter, Carol is home with me. I have 10 boys and two girls. Two have gone to heaven. Joe and Mark. I miss them very much. Not many of us are still around from the class of '51. Irene is the only one who stays in touch. No word from Georgianna. I did see Kate Doran the last time we were in Danville. My husband also passed away in July of 2010 . I still miss him. We are all going into our 90's. God is Good.! God Bless!!! So much going on in my retirement. Went to the Slovak Festival in summer of2017 and 2018 with some of family. Marty came out from California to celebrate the occassiin and Jim (Nancy) from New Jersey. Met up in Danville and joined Kate Doran who joined us at the "Halusky" line. Good food, family and friends....what more could we ask for. Also met up with Srs. Irene and Rosanne Kmetz who manned the Gift store. What wonderful gifts we collected.
